Dear Friends, Family and Website Visitors,

One of the most rewarding parts of My Ministry is what I refer to as " A Helpful Hit and Run." Let me explain.

I recently became aware of someone that was quietly struggling with major issues. She needed help in so many areas of her life and I knew that in some way, I would be able to lighten her load. A bag wasn't big enough to hold all that was needed, so I used a suitcase instead and I filled it with many different items that I pulled from my inventory. I approached her with the suitcase and asked her if she could use it. She gratefully accepted it, unaware of its contents. As we parted ways I couldn't help but feel that her situation was not coincidentally brought to my attention.

I did run into her since then. She started crying when she saw me saying how much she needed everything that was in that suitcase. Not having to purchase those necessities freed her up to pay some bills. I explained to her about My Ministry and that I was happy to help.

Although my major donation day is Thanksgiving, I am fortunate enough to have people like this come into my life throughout the year.
