Dear Family Friends and Website Visitors,

Well, as I expected, August has become the month to turn my house upside down with a barrage of bags, boxes and bounties of bundles.

Thanks to last year's donations [especially those that came in after Thanksgiving], I have already been able to fill 112 bags. 

However, I am at a standstill now because I have run out of some very important items.  The following list comes on the request of those wanting to know the greatest need.  These are always the most in demand so if you will forgive me for my indulgence, I will share them with you in order of their importance.

My greatest needs are:

Washcloths

toothpaste

toweletts

Band-Aids

deodorants

floss

I will always need anything you have extra of, because eventually I will also being running low on those items. You can find a more complete list on my website.

Also, although this continues to be a need for travel size items, I have started using larger sizes to service whole families.  Whatever the case,  I can either use these larger items as a whole, or break them down for single bags.

All this leads me to condensing items into smaller bags, so, it would be very helpful for snack size sandwich size zip bags. 

Whoa!  Looks like I'm sounding a little needy.  Maybe I am.  I just never expected this Ministry to grow as big as it has.  I expect to serve 500 people this year.  What makes it so sad is that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Please remember that there will always be someone in need of your extras, along with your generosity.

One more thing. I am very excited that I have been listed on the "For Women Only" pages of Consetta Web Solutions as a website that supports the needs of today's woman. There are some really amazing women, websites and resources listed and I am proud to be among them.
