Dear Family, Friends and Website Visitors,

Well, the first thing I need to do is thank all of those that came to my Ministry rescue during this very crucial crunch time.  There were certain crucial items I was continuously running out of.  You helped to fill that void, so, thank you, thank you, thank you.  I can guarantee you that this will make a big difference to the hundreds that will be served on Thanksgiving Day.

Although I have been networking all year shopping for bargains and using coupons, this still would not be possible with all the help and support I have gotten.  That being said, I would like to give special recognition to the following:

·        Family and friends that made bulk donations of items

·        Glendale Christian for spiritual material and items

·        Local hotel chains for surplus items

Last but not least, I have to recognize The National Junior Honor Society at Desert Valley Elementary School.   Thanks to them, their leaders and a very special contact person, I will be able to service more than I thought possible.   This is the second year that NJHS at DV has made My Ministry one of their outreach causes.  What they do is make up flyers, daily announcements and have competitions  between the grade levels.  Whatever grade level collects the most, will receive a root beer float party.  I’m hoping when all is said and done though, that they all feel like winners because they were able to help someone in need.

In closing may I say that all I do would not be possible without your help and support.  You have helped make someone else’s holiday a little more thankful.
