Hello Family, Friends and
Website Visitors,
Its time once again for
a monthly update as to the progress of my Ministry.
Now wasn't that fun purging
through your things while you did spring cleaning. OK, maybe the fun wasn't
in the cleaning, but I hope it will be in knowing that unused items will be
finding new homes. Along with a variety of hygiene supplies, I also
received 2 humungous bags of new stuffed animals. Can't you just see the
faces of the kids when they get those. I'll have to use the larger bags for
them so that I can fit everything in.
There is something else
that has become more apparent to me. Being that my website is getting more
exposure, some people have asked if they can make a monetary donation to
avoid postage charges. Although this Ministry wasn't started out with that
in mind, I guess it just makes more economical sense for those that live far
away. I have already received a couple of donations which immediately went
to purchasing more yarn and 99 cent store incidentals. If anyone is
interested in a donation such as this, they can contact me at this website
for more details.
As
for myself, I have been able to get a donation of over 100 shaving cream
packets, suitable for men and women. I'm also always scrounging around for
bargains and networking for donations.
Last
but not least is the hat count. As of today, were looking at 176 completed
hats. My fingers are in a permanent crochet position, but it is a labor of
love. Looks like, if all goes well, I'll be able to surpass my old goal of
150 and hit 200 bags instead. But make no mistake about it, I know that I
couldn't do any of this alone. I do so thank all of you for your donations
and support.

EXPECT LITTLE
AND
GIVE MUCH
With Love and Blessings
