February 2006 Ministry Update

 

Dear family and friends,

I just wanted to give you an update on how my ministry is going.

First of all, Your donations to this date have overwhelmed me.  There are so many people that will  benefit from your generosity.  All these items will help me fill over 100 bags.  Thank you so very much.

Second, My needs have shifted somewhat since receiving so many of these donations.  Although all items are still needed and very much appreciated, the greatest need right now is for the following:

Gift bags,  any occasion, as long as they are sturdy and have handles.

dental floss

small toys

healthy snack foods

Band-Aids

emery boards

wash cloths

mending kits

wipe ups

tissues

q-tips

bottled water

dark colored yarn

As always, these items need to be travel and sample size so that I can fill the bags sufficiently.

Please don't feel limited by this because I will definitely use anything you send in.  The sky is the limit as to what you could donate.  The need is so great, that there is really nothing that can't be used by someone.
